Arrival at Rome Termini Train Station
🛍️ Shopping and Dining at Rome Termini Station
Rome Termini isn’t just a transit hub—it’s a full-fledged shopping and dining destination. Inside the station, travelers can explore a wide array of boutiques, from Italian fashion brands to international labels, perfect for last-minute gifts or stylish upgrades. The dining options are equally diverse: whether you’re craving a quick espresso and pastry, a sit-down trattoria meal, or global fast food, Termini delivers. For a more relaxed experience, head upstairs to the food court area, where you’ll find everything from gourmet pizza to fresh pasta and gelato. It’s a convenient, lively spot to recharge before heading out into the Eternal City.
Taxi to Hotel Best Western President
There is a taxi stand just outside the Roma Termini station. Make sure to go to the stand at the end of the station and enter the queue for an official taxi. Make sure that they use the meter and confirm before getting in that they will accept a credit card. If someone approaches you and asks if you need a taxi, it is likely a scam! Wait at the actual stands.

Rome ATAC Metro (Subway) to BW President

From Roma Termini Central Station take Atac Metro line A in the direction of Anagnina for two stops, getting off at Manzoni. The BEST WESTERN Hotel President is 10 meters from the stop. While less expensive than a taxi, it is less convenient to travel with luggage. Trains and subways are generally safe, but you must be on guard, the pickpockets are professionals.

Roman Forum and Palatine Hill
Originally a marketplace, the Forum was the center of day-to-day life in Rome: the site of triumphal processions and elections and the venue for public speeches, criminal trials and gladiatorial matches. It has been called the most celebrated meeting place in the world, and in all history.
